EFDI ANNUAL MEETING 2006
The 30th of November and the 1st of December, in Palermo, has been held the 2006 EFDI Annual Meeting. After the morning internal session of the first day, the public session began with the welcoming address of Banca D’Italia and Banca Nuova and then representatives of the Joint Research Centre, of the European Commission and of International Organisations showed an updated worldwide panorama of the Deposit Guarantee Schemes’ condition.
During the second day, 1st of December, the seminar Developments in the European banking industry: problems arising from and for “Cross Border Activities” of “Systemic Relevant Banks” has been widely developed taking into account the point of view of Supervisory Authorities, Banks and Deposit Guarantee Schemes
